Combating Anxiety- From the Inside Out!
Our first unit in Social Emotional Learning (SEL) was anxiety. The students were introduced to the emotion anxiety. They defined anxiety and learned the different ways that anxiety can manifest in each of our lives. We discussed various healthy tactics of combating anxiety once we recognize it in ourselves or others. We concluded our unit with a pajama day and a special preview of Inside Out 2!

Students participated in Pink Out Day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October. Creative Learning Institute joined the cause during the month of October to support all of the women and men fighting against breast cancer, those who have survived breast cancer, and to honor those that obtained their ultimate victory against the disease.
